My hobbies include practicing tea ceremony (Urasenke school, one of the largest and most renowned schools in the world, 3rd year), visiting shrines, and fortune-telling✨

I have been studying with Yasuyo-san for half a year now and I am really enjoying our lessons. Apart from being very kind and patient she is always very well prepared and reagularly follows up on my learning goals. I also appreciate the extra material she brings related to my specific cultural interests. Warmly recommend Yasuyo-san as a teacher.

I started taking lessons with Yasuyo Sensei, and I can say with absolute sincerity that she is an exceptional teacher, both from a human and a professional point of view. She is an extremely kind, warm, and empathetic person. From the very first lessons, she creates a calm and welcoming atmosphere in which you immediately feel comfortable speaking, asking questions, and even making mistakes. She truly listens to her students and pays great attention to their needs, goals, and difficulties, showing a rare and genuine sensitivity. From a teaching perspective, she is highly skilled and professional. She explains concepts in a clear, patient, and well-structured way, adapting her method to each student’s characteristics and carefully focusing on more challenging points. Thanks to diagnostic tests, she is able to quickly identify a student’s level and clearly understand the doubts and insecurities that often arise when studying a language like Japanese. She always responds in a precise and effective way, without ever making the student feel inadequate. I especially appreciate how she consistently encourages both spoken and written production, offering helpful suggestions and corrections with great care and respect. As a beginner, after only a couple of weeks with Yasuyo Sensei, I feel like I'm making real progress. She is very patient and comes well prepared for the lessons. Yasuyo Sensei is very cheerful and positive, making the lessons feel relaxed and enjoyable. Would definitely recommend to other students.
