Hi, I'm Iris, a native Swiss German speaker from the canton of Schwyz. I'm passionate about languages, cultures and connecting with people from around the world.

As someone who speaks five languages and lives abroad, I understand what it feels like to learn a new language and want to express yourself with confidence.

Besides teaching, I'm also a yoga teacher, which influences my approach: calm, supportive and without pressure.

I love helping people feel comfortable speaking and creating a relaxed space where you can just be yourself while learning.

I’m at the beginning of my journey as a language tutor, but I bring strong communication skills from many years of working in international, people-focused roles.

Through my work as a yoga teacher, I’ve gained experience in guiding people step by step, explaining clearly, and creating a supportive learning environment.

My teaching style is conversation-based, focused on helping you speak from the start.

In our lessons, we work on:

- Real-life conversations and everyday situations

- Understanding and speaking Swiss German

- Pronunciation and natural expression

I also introduce simple and practical grammar when needed, so you can improve without feeling overwhelmed.
