About me

Hi! I'm José, with a Master's degree in Literature and Linguistics from the Federal University of Goiás, where I conducted research on the memories and oral narratives of a rural community in Goiás.

So far, I've also worked as a Portuguese and writing teacher in a university preparatory course, a text editor at the Mauro Borges Institute (IMB) and at the UFG Editorial and Graphic Center (Cegraf/UFG), a writing corrector at various private schools in Goiânia, and a private tutor and teacher in the São Paulo state education system.

Beyond work, I enjoy writing, singing, chatting, reading, and traveling. I have two cats and would adopt a few more if you made a plan with me! :)

I have eight years of experience teaching Portuguese language and writing, having first worked in a preparatory course for university entrance exams during my undergraduate studies and later as a private tutor and in the public school system of the state of São Paulo.

José Pedro prepares the classes well, teaches interesting topics related to daily life, history, and the culture of Brazil. He also explains grammatical structures and pronunciation well. The class is never boring.
