Hi, my name is Jose and I'm from Puerto Rico. I've worked for over 20 years as a Spanish teacher in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Colombia, Mexico, the United States, and Peru. I've taught children, youth, and adults, and it brings me great joy to share experiences and strategies that help my students learn Spanish. I hope to see you soon, get to know each other, and share experiences to help you speak and understand Spanish in a simple and practical way.

I have over 20 years of experience. I hold a certification from the Department of Education of Puerto Rico and have taught Spanish in Puerto Rico, Brazil, Mexico, Colombia, the United States, and Peru.

The teaching methodology I use is based on learning while sharing everyday life experiences, making the lessons varied and, above all, relevant for the student who wants to learn a new language.

My lessons with Jose have been very helpful in moving towards my goals for learning Spanish. Jose explains things very clearly and gives me plenty of opportunity to speak and make sure that my pronunciation and understanding is correct. Jose also helps with my particular goals of learning Puerto Rican Spanish by explaining the variations between Castilian & Puerto Rican Spanish when they come up.
