I’m Barbara, a native Italian speaker who loves languages, travel, and good food. I’ve lived in London for many years, so we can easily chat in English too, and soon I’ll be moving to Spain, so you’ll get a few international vibes in our lessons!

My lessons are relaxed and friendly: lots of conversation, a few laughs, and no pressure. I focus on practical Italian you can actually use - at a café, while traveling, or just in casual conversation.

I’ve spent several years working in education and learning support, which has taught me how to help students of all ages feel confident while learning. I’ve been teaching Italian formally since this year, but I apply the same strategies I’ve used for years: clear goals, encouragement, and plenty of practice.

My lessons mix conversation, useful vocabulary, and a little grammar - always adapted to your level and interests.

Whether you’re starting from scratch or looking to improve your fluency, my goal is for you to leave each lesson thinking: “I really learned something… and I actually enjoyed it!”
