About me

Hello! My name is Theodoros, and I’m a teacher of Ancient Greek, Modern Greek, and Latin. I’ve had the joy of guiding students through the rich worlds of classical and modern languages, helping them uncover the roots of thought, literature, and culture.

When I’m not teaching, you’ll likely find me at the bridge table, enjoying the strategy and concentration the game demands—qualities that, funnily enough, aren’t so far from those we use when reading Plato or Virgil!

I have been a tutor for the last 15 years, and I have a degree in Philology from the University of Ioannina.

Theodoros is an excellent teacher: not only that he knows enormous ancient Greek, but he also is a good pedagogue, because he explains very well all the contents. He is also patient and able to adapt to the student`s needs for learning. I definitely recommend him!

Theodoros is an amazing tutor! As a beginner student learning Ancient Greek, I have enjoyed my lesson with Theo and have seen my skills grow steadily. He is patient, very well organized, attentive to details in pronunciation and reading, and instructs and introduces new material at a great pace. I highly recommend him as a tutor!!
