Hey, I'm Marvin, 27 years old and from beautiful Munich!
German doesn’t have to be complicated. My lessons are humorous, easy to understand, yet goal-oriented and structured for maximum efficiency.
In my spare time, I enjoy writing books and practicing martial arts. You might also catch me surfing. ;)

I’ve been teaching German for two years now, to people coming from war-torn regions who want to learn the language. I’ve had very good experiences on LearnZone so far and always enjoy meeting new people here. :)

Marvin has helped me so much in learning German. He was quick at identifying my language gaps, and then made a plan so that we focus on exactly the things that I need to improve. He's got a lot of different types of exercises which makes the lessons fun, and I always feel supported, even when my motivation is low. Marvin is a wonderful teacher. He is patient, supportive, and creates a very comfortable environment, which makes it much easier to ask questions and speak without feeling self-conscious. He is very professional, but also close and approachable, which makes the classes feel both serious and relaxed at the same time. His lessons are always enjoyable, but never improvised, there is a clear methodology behind them. You can tell that he not only knows the language very well, but also understands a lot about how people learn, and that comes through in every class. He adapts the lessons to my needs, keeps me motivated, and at the same time pushes me to improve. The patience he has is truly exceptional.Erin

He is a great teacher! The classes are not structured for you to force memorization of some rules. He is teaching the logic behind. Every other teacher/method I tried was showing me the things I need to learn and memorize without telling me what the purpose of them was and why I'm learning these. It's not a way that I can learn things. Marvin is a great teacher because he teaches the purpose of things and "why" during the classes. After a while, you discover that you already naturally learned those things you need to memorize
