I’m Dr. Alexandra, and for two years, I’ve been teaching English lessons to kids! Now, I’ve decided to show the world just how fascinating the Romanian language is!

By profession, I’m a doctor with a huge passion for spreading knowledge! I’m not a big fan of homework, since anyone interested in learning will do so without the pressure of assignments. There’s always new information to read between our learning sessions <3

Alexandra explains clearly whilst taking time to confirm your understanding. She takes time to ensure you understand the difference in the letters and sound these letters make to perfect your annunciations.

highly recommend my teacher, Alexandra, to anyone who wants to improve their language skills. She is very engaging and always adapts the lessons to your personal needs and goals. I truly feel like we are working together as a team toward my improvement. Thanks to her support and teaching style, I can now speak Romanian much more confidently with my colleagues at work. I had a very disappointing experience with this teacher, and I strongly advise potential students to think twice before booking a lesson with her. As my job requires me to travel constantly, my phone’s time zone changes the whole time, and I clearly explained this to her. Unfortunately, due to a time zone mismatch, the "trial lesson" (chargable as a normal class) was scheduled three hours later than my actual local time where I live. The moment I realized it, I informed her politely (3h in advance) and asked for a solution or reschedule. Instead of showing any understanding or professionalism, she refused to help in any way. She insisted on charging me for the missed class, even though it was an honest mistake caused by time zone changes, something I had already warned her about. She even implied that I was being disrespectful, which felt entirely uncalled for and surprisingly rude. I also mentioned that the platform she wanted to use for the video call doesn’t work well on my side, and I suggested an alternative app that has always worked perfectly for me. She dismissed my concern completely and told me she would only use the original platform because it works for her, regardless of whether it causes issues for her students. A good teacher understands that communication and flexibility are essential, especially when working with international students. Unfortunately, this was not the case here. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend her. There are many other teachers who are professional, respectful, and genuinely committed to helping their students. I suggest choosing one of them instead. Totally worth it spending a bit more...
