About me

Hello, My name is Inès, I love learning languages, I love creating art and I have an infinite curiosity about the world we live in. I believe it is important to learn about different cultures and I am looking forward to meeting people from all over the world who share the same passion as me!

I taught for 6 years when I was living in Japan, I also graduated from a design school in Tokyo and I enjoy creating my own language sheets and content that I can use with my students.

My initial goal is to take the time to understand each student's motivations and develop an individual learning plan that fits their needs and goals. It is important for my students to feel comfortable sharing their language goals/concerns and aspirations.

Conversational Japanese

Having lived in Japan for many years, I focus on real-life scenarios, introduce students to japanese culture and idioms. I create adapted lessons to students’ goals (relocation, travel, business, personal interest).

Japanese for beginners

Many of my students started learning with me as beginners. I have introduced them to hiragana, katakana, and foundational kanji. They are able to read, and express themselves. The learning materials are easy and beginner-friendly.

JLPT

I prepared students for the JLPT test, reinforcing their grammar knowledge, follwing a tailored plan.

Intensive Japanese

I supported learners preparing for relocation, academic programs, or professional use of Japanese in a short period of time. I guided motivated students through immersive language programs designed to produce progress within limited timeframes.
