Hi, my name is Mavvis:)

I became a Mandarin teacher because I love languages. I speak Mandarin, English. And I'm learning German.

Aside from teaching language, I love hiking, reading, drawing, and baking.

I have a background in organic agriculture and am passionate about nature.

I have about one year of experience teaching language.

I can teach both traditional and simplified Mandarin, Zhuyin, and Pinyin. My goal for the lesson is to use methods that suit you best to improve your Mandarin.

In our lessons, you won’t just learn vocabulary and grammar. You’ll actively use them. I make sure you have time to speak and receive clear, supportive corrections so you can build confidence and accuracy.

She is a very motivated and engaging tutor. Every lesson is well prepared. We work with my textbook, and she also prepares her own slides, which she shares with me. The lessons are personalized and focused on my individual goals. She is very patient, even though my Mandarin is at a beginner level. She has always been punctual and well prepared without exception. Time flies during the lessons, and her positive attitude makes learning enjoyable. I highly recommend her.
