Hola! I’m Javi, an avid traveler, sports lover, and Spanish teacher. After more than 10 years exploring and living around the world (from Australia and New Zealand to the United States, Canada, Ireland, and Kenya), I’ve learned that every language is a door to new experiences, and that’s exactly what I want to share with you.

I’ve cycled from Vancouver to Tijuana with my surfboard, almost lost my life crossing the Vatnajökull glacier in Iceland, dived with sharks in Australia and the Philippines, and paraglided all over New Zealand. These are just some of my adventures... I can’t wait to hear about yours! :)

I studied Communication at the University of Seville. I have 3 years of experience teaching Spanish and another 6 as an instructor of kitesurfing, wingfoiling, and surfing. My style is clear, dynamic, and flexible, because I know every student is unique.

I work with children, teenagers, and adults, and I adapt my lessons to your goals: whether you want Spanish for travel, for work, or simply to enjoy it.

Here’s how we’ll work depending on your level:

Beginners: I’ll teach you pronunciation and writing from the very first class. Then we’ll learn useful vocabulary, simple phrases, and the most common verbs. I’ll help you communicate in the present, past, and future in a clear and simple way so you can get by in Spanish as soon as possible :)

Intermediate: Once you’ve got the basics, we’ll dive into more advanced past and future tenses. You’ll achieve much more fluent conversations and expand your vocabulary to handle yourself with confidence in many situations. This level is a lot of fun! :)

Advanced: Congratulations on making it this far! There’s sooo much to explore! We’ll refine your technique with the subjunctive, conditionals, debates, and much more! :)

Honestly, my first and main goal is for you to enjoy your classes while you learn. For that, I always bring plenty of humor and fun anecdotes :)
