I'm sure Annette is a decent teacher, but I was very disappointed when she canceled a lesson with me at the last minute because she had a change of plans. As I explained to her, I found this pretty unprofessional. I have a busy schedule and budget my time carefully and having a teacher cancel a long-planned lesson at the last minute because they decided to do something else instead strikes me as pretty disrespectful.

Ich konzentriere mich auf echtes, gesprochenes Deutsch für den Alltag. Du lernst, wie Deutsch wirklich verwendet wird. Nicht die Sprache aus dem Lehrbuch. Ziel ist, dass du dich in typischen Alltagssituationen wie Einkaufen, Small Talk oder Terminen sicher ausdrücken kannst.
German for beginners
Ich habe mehrere Schüler erfolgreich von A1 bis B1 in ca. 6-9 Monaten begleitet. Der Fokus liegt auf Alltagssituationen und dem Deutsch, das tatsächlich gesprochen wird.Der Unterricht ist klar strukturiert und basiert auf eigens erstelltem, vollständigem Lernmaterial, das dich Schritt für Schritt durch den gesamten Lernprozess führt.Empfohlen sind 2-3 Unterrichtsstunden pro Woche sowie zusätzlich ca. 2-3 Stunden Eigenaufwand (Hausaufgaben und Vokabeltraining).In den nächsten 6–9 Monaten werden alle Unterrichtsmaterialien vollständig ins Deutsche übersetzt und der Unterricht zunehmend auf Deutsch durchgeführt.
Intensive German
Für schnellen Fortschritt biete ich intensive Lernphasen an, z. B. mehrere Unterrichtseinheiten pro Woche über einen begrenzten Zeitraum und mehr Eigenarbeit als bei normalen Unterrichtsstunden. Der Unterricht ist klar, präzise und inhaltsreich. Jede Stunde ist bewusst kompakt gestaltet und bringt messbaren Fortschritt.
Business German
Ich unterstütze Berufstätige dabei, Deutsch so zu lernen, wie es im Arbeitsalltag wirklich gesprochen wird. Nicht die Formulierungen aus klassischen Business-Lehrbüchern. Wir arbeiten mit realen Situationen aus deinem Job, z. B. Kick-off-Calls, Protokolle schreiben, Gespräche mit Vorgesetzten oder Vorstellungsgespräche, praxisnah und direkt anwendbar.
German Literature
Für fortgeschrittene Lernende (B2-C2) arbeiten wir mit authentischen literarischen Texten. Dazu gehören Gedichte (z. B. von Rilke), Theaterstücke, moderne umgangssprachliche Texte auf C2-Niveau sowie klassisches oder älteres Deutsch. Der Fokus liegt auf tiefem Sprachverständnis, Stilgefühl und Ausdruck.
