My name is Lola, I’m 23 years old, and I’ve been passionate about languages for as long as I can remember.

I’m from Angers (if you’ve never heard of it, don’t worry… it’s not very big 😉), a small city near Nantes, about four hours from Paris, in the northwest of France.

I started learning Spanish at a young age and later English. Languages have always been my gateway to the world — to new cultures, perspectives, and connections.

My very first teaching experience was deeply meaningful to me: I worked as an au pair in Spain for a year, where I taught French to a 4-year-old boy through games and playful activities. At the time, I didn’t imagine becoming a teacher… yet that’s exactly where everything started. Life sometimes has beautiful surprises waiting for us.

Later, I completed a degree in Applied Foreign Languages, where I strengthened my knowledge in languages, economics, business, management, and marketing. During that time, I had the incredible opportunity to study for a year at UNAM in Mexico — without a doubt one of the best experiences of my life.

To support myself financially during that year, I gave private lessons to middle and high school students. That’s when I truly realized how much I loved teaching and sharing knowledge.

I also volunteered in Japan through a Workaway program, teaching French in a school. This immersion experience enriched me both personally and professionally.

Today, I have been teaching online for three years, and I am currently completing a Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE). I specialize in teaching French to English and Spanish speakers.

And just like you, I am also a language learner — I’m currently learning Japanese. So I truly understand how it feels when you get stuck on a grammar rule, when words don’t come easily, or when you struggle with confidence. We’re on the same team.

Experience & Teaching Approach

I hold the DALF certification and prepare students for official exams: TEF, TCF, DELF, and DALF.

Through my Master’s degree in French as a Foreign Language (FLE), I continuously develop strong and up-to-date teaching skills. My training allows me to:
