About me

Hello, my name is Mathias and I’m from Germany. With many years of international professional experience and a broad network of friends around the world, I have not only discovered the joy of learning languages but also of sharing this skill with others. As a native German speaker, I am also fluent in English, French, Luxembourgish, and Portuguese, and over time I have gained valuable experience in practical language exchange.

In my many years of experience as a language teacher, I have helped a wide range of people successfully learn German and other languages. Although I do not hold a formal teaching degree, I have developed effective teaching methods through intensive exchange with international friends and acquaintances methods that have proven themselves in practice. I focus on a communicative and practical approach, where the language is actively used to handle everyday situations. This helps learners quickly gain confidence in using the language.

I’ve only had 4 lessons with Matthias so far, but he has already supported me in more ways than I could have asked for. He explains things very clearly and has a strong command of the German language, which makes learning much easier. On top of that, he’s very friendly and easygoing, which really helps create a comfortable learning environment, making his approach much easier for me to relax and stay engaged. I’m really looking forward to continuing my lessons with him.
