    About me

Hi! I am a passionate math tutor with a love for teaching and problem-solving. I believe math isn’t just about numbers—it’s about understanding patterns, logic, and critical thinking. When I’m not teaching, I enjoy exploring history, technology, and calisthenics, always looking for new ways to challenge myself and grow.

I have extensive experience teaching students of all levels, from young learners to advanced high school courses. My expertise includes:

✔ Elementary & Preschool Math – Making learning fun and interactive for kids.

✔ GCSE & IB Math – Building a strong foundation and exam confidence.

✔ AP Calculus AB & BC – Helping students master derivatives, integrals, and series.

    ✔ Trigonometry, Functions & Pre-Calculus – Strengthening problem-solving skills.

My teaching method focuses on understanding, not memorization. I break down complex concepts into simple explanations, use real-world examples, and adapt lessons to each student’s learning style. With step-by-step guidance and engaging discussions, I help students not just pass their exams, but truly grasp the beauty of math.

Zain is a great teacher who breaks down topics into simpler forms according to your understanding by going step by step and giving examples. Honestly I never really knew what I was doing while solving the question but after a few lessons with teacher Zain I finally started to feel more confident while solving problems

    My specialties

    Elementary math

Teaching elementary math on LearnZone has reminded me how important a strong foundation is. Many students struggle with basic arithmetic because they were never taught in an engaging way. I focus on making numbers less intimidating and more fun, using real-life examples to help concepts stick.

    Math for kids

Kids learn best when they're having fun, so I try to make math feel like a game. Whether it’s counting with objects, simple puzzles, or interactive exercises, I aim to keep their curiosity alive. Seeing their excitement when they solve a problem on their own is incredibly rewarding.

    Calculus

Explaining calculus concepts to students has been a challenge, but a fun one. Many struggle with limits and derivatives at first, but once they see the practical applications—like how slopes work in real life—it starts making sense. I try to simplify the intuition behind each concept before diving into formulas.

    IB Math

Teaching IB Math has been interesting because it emphasizes both conceptual understanding and real-world applications. Many students struggle with the balance between theory and problem-solving, so I focus on building intuition first. Whether it’s Standard Level (SL) or Higher Level (HL), I help students break down complex topics and approach problems systematically. Past paper practice is crucial since IB questions often test deeper reasoning rather than just calculations.

    GCSE Math

GCSE students often feel overwhelmed by the breadth of topics, so I focus on structured learning. Breaking down complex problems, practicing past papers, and teaching exam techniques help them build confidence. I’ve seen students improve significantly just by understanding the "why" behind each step.

    Math for preschoolers

At this stage, math is all about patterns, shapes, and basic number sense. I keep lessons playful with songs, stories, and hands-on activities. It’s less about teaching math directly and more about helping kids develop a natural number sense.

    Functions

Functions are one of my favorite topics to teach because they form the backbone of algebra and calculus. I focus on helping students see functions as transformations—how inputs change to outputs. Graphing functions and understanding their behavior visually makes the learning process smoother.

    Trigonometry

Many students struggle with trigonometric identities and unit circles, so I emphasize visualization. I use diagrams and real-world examples like measuring heights of buildings or navigation to show how useful trigonometry is. Once they get the logic, solving problems becomes much easier.

    Ap calculus

Teaching AP Calculus has been an exciting challenge because students need both deep understanding and strong problem-solving skills. Many struggle with limits and integrals at first, but once they grasp the intuition behind them, their confidence grows. I emphasize conceptual clarity along with test-taking strategies to help them succeed.

    Pre calculus

Pre-calculus is the bridge between algebra and calculus, and many students find it daunting. I help them build intuition for concepts like limits, sequences, and logarithms so they don’t just memorize formulas but actually understand them. A strong grasp of pre-calculus makes calculus much less intimidating.
