Hello, I'mRob, Im Scottish living in England, a former traveller. I've taught English for several years because I was once a sports coach, and missed the transfer of skills to others to help improve their lives. I studied French and Italian at University and taught myself Japanese.

I have taught Karate and samurai Arts for 45 years, was World Champion, and love to play guitar and piano when I'm not watching classic movies.

I have over two years of teaching experience in English as a second language, but spent 20 years as an elite coach in Karate and Kickboxing, raising people up to World Champion level. I was top English student in my Private College with strong creative writing skills and excellent grammar skills. I completed a TESOL certification course to sharpen my skills for teaching. I like to have relaxed, fun lessons, as I feel students need to relax to absorb knowledge fully. I learned the value of this while studying Psychology at university. I value conversation practice very highly and specifity of purpose to encourage English speaking.
