About me

Hey! My name is Kiomy, I am 19 years old and from the wonderful city of Lima, Peru. I am a student at university and I’m passionate about travel, getting to know new languages, and teaching you Spanish!

My native language is Spanish and I learned English as a second language 3 years ago to complete fluency. I have experience helping people overcome the intermediate plateau in Spanish to become completely fluent, and I am excited to deliver you all the same results!

Not only can I teach you Spanish but I can also teach you about Peruvian and Latin culture and how it ties in with the Spanish language. I believe that when learning a language, learning about the culture is so important as well, and as a native latina I am more than happy to help you with this too!

I have experience in helping intermediate learners to advance their Spanish to a high level, and speak conversational Spanish with confidence.

Lessons with me will be very relaxed and tailored to your needs. Wether you need help with the very basics of Spanish, practice with fluent conversation, or anything in between, I will do my upmost to tailor our classes to your needs to get you speaking Spanish confidently!

I have been having classes with Kiomy for 3 months now and I cannot say enough good things about her, but most importantly I've always been scared to talk in Spanish, but she makes me feel very comfortable about it and when I say something incorrectly she corrects me in such a nice way that I don't feel discouraged in the slightest hahaha. I always look forward to our classes. I highly recommend!! Graciaaas, Kiomy :)))

Spanish for beginners

Tengo experiencia enseñando español a hablantes de inglés. Como hablo inglés fluido, puedo ayudarte con los aspectos básicos del español, o podemos mantener conversaciones en un nivel inicial. Si en algún momento no sabes cómo decir algo, puedes decirlo en inglés y te enseñaré a expresarlo en español. ¡Estoy aquí para ayudarte a aprender de manera efectiva y divertida!

Intensive Spanish

Si quieres aprender un idioma rápidamente, la intensidad es la mejor manera de lograrlo. Cuando estudié Inglés en Nueva York durante seis meses, mi inglés mejoró mucho. Además, tengo experiencia ayudando a los turistas que vienen a mi ciudad a sumergirse en el español y hablarlo todo el día para que puedan aprender rápidamente. ¡Siempre ha funcionado!
