About me
Do you want to talk like you, not like a textbook? You’re in the right place! I help creative professionals express their ideas in English—because style, personality, and uniqueness matter in your industry. You CAN sound on-point, confident, and true to yourself—less like a chatbot, and more like an expert. How?
-----------------------------------------------
Since 2013, I’ve helped animators, chefs, gallery workers, game developers, architects, journalists and more build fluency and real-world communication skills. We thrive because classes are fun, useful, and directed by personal passions.
Outside class, I love photographing street art, playing video games, and exploring the mountains around Madrid. My background includes a Master’s in Information and Communication Tech and a Bachelor’s in Museum Studies and Psychology. I continue my studies with classes in phonetics, linguistics, and didactics. I also train teachers to deliver CLIL lessons, to incorporate neurodivergent students into large class groups, and to use technology as a driver of critical thinking (not a crutch) for young learners. Learning continues our whole life, in my humble opinion :D
👉 I'd love to hear about your goals!
-----------------------------------------------
Each class incorporates evidence-backed methodologies, from CLIL to Communicative. I have multiple paper qualifications, but what does this mean for you? It means that I am trained to help you:
- Explain creative processes clearly and while reducing major mistakes
- Give opinions and feedback with a tone that matches your intention
- Make recommendations about food, culture, and experiences; maybe even describe or discuss this like a critic!
- Elevate small talk, so your coworkers actually look forward to that morning meeting!
-----------------------------------------------
Students typically choose 1 of 3 directions:
1. Fluency Fast-Track with content-rich lessons and vibrant vocabularies, to boost your confidence with measurable improvements. Instead of: "I think this painting is good" try "This element speak to me. What an interesting way to reimagine a portrait."
2. Pronunciation and Structured Literacy, which is full of "eureka!" moments. You'll be surprised how much this impacts our understanding and listening skills!
3. Speech Articulation to elevate small talk and build valuable communication skills at work, turning "I think my boss liked the idea" into "C'mon guys, no need to cheer, it's just a meeting!"
-----------------------------------------------
What will you do in class?
1. For Fast Fluency:
- Conversation-first (speak ~70% of the class)
- Personalized idioms and expressions, not robotic responses ("I'm unable to complete this" < "I'm struggling to get over this hill")
- Clear feedback + simple strategies to improve fast
- Scaffolded, short or asynchronous instruction in grammar, pronunciation, authentic listening or vocabulary
2. & 3. For Pronunciation, Structured Literacy, and Communication Articulation, "sorry, could you repeat that," becomes a phrase of the past! This track of learning involves:
- Personalized selection of units for your specific needs
- Topics like connected speech, rhythm and intonation in the workplace, persuasion and pitching with humor
Extra support involves:
- Accent clarity (neutral American English)
- Neurodiverse-friendly lessons (ADHD, dyslexia, etc.)
- Visual summaries + vocabulary review
- Supplemental worksheets and authentic sources (access to textbooks like National Geographic: Life, Oxford and Cambridge publications, etc.)
- CEFR-based progression
No preparation needed for the trial —just bring your curiosity.
See you soon!

I have been fortunate to take English lessons with Leah, and I must say that her teaching has significantly contributed to my progress. Leah’s approach is both structured and adaptable, allowing her to tailor the lessons to my specific needs and goals. Her ability to explain complex topics in a clear and concise manner makes learning both efficient and enjoyable. What I find most valuable is her encouraging and supportive demeanor, which motivates me to practice and improve continuously. The techniques she employs, such as interactive discussions, vocabulary-building exercises, and practical applications, are not only effective but also engaging. Thanks to Leah’s guidance, I feel more confident in my language skills and inspired to keep learning. I am looking forward to our next class!

Leah is a wonderful and kind tutor! Every week, we talk about interesting topics, which makes the lessons fun and helpful. She explains everything clearly and uses great examples and materials to help me understand better. I always enjoy learning with her. I also learn a lot from her beyond just English — she always has knowledge to share, no matter what the topic is. I really look forward to our lessons!
