About me

Hello, I'm Mahdis. I have been living in Italy for over five years and am currently pursuing double degrees in two English-taught Master's programs: Psychology, and Medicine and Surgery at Italian universities. With nearly 12 years of experience in teaching and translating, I am confident in my ability to help you improve your English through customized learning strategies.

My extensive work with different agencies and in various countries has equipped me with a wealth of tips and tools to enhance your learning experience. I am a disciplined and hardworking teacher who believes in making learning fun and engaging. Together, we will work towards achieving your English language goals, making the process enjoyable and effective.

Teaching Experience

With almost 12 years of teaching and translating experience, I specialize in helping students improve their English skills through personalized learning methods. My teaching journey has included diverse settings, from crowded classrooms in schools to one-on-one private sessions. I have had the privilege of teaching international students, providing me with valuable insights into cross-cultural communication and language acquisition.

Moreover, I have completed two courses in teaching: one focused on Business English and the other on Teaching English as a Foreign Language (TEFL). These courses have equipped me with specialized knowledge and practical skills to tailor my teaching approach to the specific needs of my students, whether in a professional or academic context.

I am dedicated to motivating my students and creating an engaging learning environment to ensure their success.

I have completed two courses in life coaching and hold a degree in Psychological Science. With more than 9 years of experience in life coaching and educational coaching in various NGOs, one-on-one sessions, and different institutes, I can confidently say that together, we will always find a way to push ourselves and break our boundaries. If we can't find a way, we'll build our way through it.

I really enjoy my English lessons with Mahdis and I'd definitely recommend her as a teacher. She is very skilled and knowledgeable, but what makes the lessons especially interesting is that she is also an extremely cultured person. Conversations with her are always stimulating because we talk about many different topics, not only about language but also about culture, society, business and current events. This makes learning English much more engaging and enjoyable. She is also very good at correcting mistakes. She never makes you feel uncomfortable or judged, and instead she encourages you to improve and keep trying. Her way of teaching creates a very positive and motivating environment. Another thing I really appreciate is that she often shares useful materials with me, such as videos, social media posts, and other resources she prepares herself. These materials make the lessons more dynamic and help me continue learning even outside the class. Overall, I feel very comfortable learning with Mahdis and I believe she is an excellent English teacher.
