Hello, my name is Carine, and I am based in the beautiful city of Johannesburg, South Africa. I am fluent in both French and English and have a strong passion for teaching and helping others grow in confidence with language.

By profession, I am a graphic designer, a role I pursue alongside teaching French to students from different backgrounds. I graduated from PC Training and Business College, which also allows me to support learners who may need basic guidance or advice with computer-related topics.

I’ve been studying French seriously and wanted a tutor who could really push me, and I’m so glad I found her. She explains grammar clearly but always makes sure I actually use it in conversation. What I appreciate most is how she corrects me in a constructive way without interrupting the flow. My confidence speaking has improved a lot, especially with more complex sentence structures. Lessons are structured but still relaxed and natural. I highly recommend her to anyone who wants to move beyond basic French and speak properly and confidently.

Ms. Carine is a wonderful French teacher who always comes to class well prepared. She takes the time to understand my goals and adapts her lessons so they meet my needs perfectly. Her explanations are clear, and she uses a variety of activities that keep the lessons engaging and enjoyable. I really appreciate how patient and encouraging she is—it makes learning French feel less intimidating and more rewarding. Update 25/02/26 I would like to share an update after more than 100 hours of lessons with Carine, and I can confidently say that I remain extremely satisfied with this journey. Looking back, I am truly grateful to have met her. Thanks to her guidance, my French has improved significantly — not only in terms of grammar and vocabulary, but also in my confidence when speaking and expressing myself naturally. What continues to impress me is her consistency, professionalism, and genuine dedication. She always adapts the lessons to my evolving needs, challenges me in the right way, and ensures that I keep progressing without ever feeling overwhelmed. Beyond her excellent teaching skills, Carine is a wonderful person who makes every lesson enjoyable and engaging. Reaching this milestone of 100+ hours would not have been possible without her motivation and encouragement. I am very proud of the progress I’ve made, and I know that much of it is thanks to her.
