About me
I specialize in custom made online lessons. We will study exactly what you want to learn. I am gentle and patient, and have a passion for languages. Learning a language should be fun and easy, and I make it so. I am also flexible when it comes to scheduling. I am available to teach mornings, evenings, and Sunday any time.
I have been tutoring for over ten years. My students range in age from 7 to 90. I try to include songs, films and stories to liven up the lessons.

I initially started studying Swedish with Bettina to prep for a vacation I was taking to Stockholm this past summer. I have enjoyed it so much that I have continued my tutoring beyond the trip. Bettina has been patient with my learning style and is flexible with my schedule. Her recommended lessons are simple but still challenging and I am impressed with how much I have retained in such a short time! Highly recommend Bettina for language tutoring!

I was totally immersed in a French school environment from age four to 14. Proper diction and grammar top the list for me. Having said that, I also always plan for some cultural learning too, with songs and movement included.
