About me

Hello! My name is Alina, and I'm here to help you speak Russian. I have been living in Serbia for 2 years already. I love traveling, arts, literature, cinema, and I'll be happy to talk with you on various topics. Sign up for a lesson with me to improve your Russian!

I love foreign languages and have learnt English, French, and Spanish on my own. I've been teaching English for over 6 years. I am well aware of the challenges students face when starting to learn a new language and know how to overcome these issues. I received a diploma as an English language teacher from Moscow's top pedagogical university, completed courses in conference interpreting at St. Petersburg State University, and scored 107 out of 120 on the TOEFL English language proficiency test.

Alina is a fantastic Russian teacher. She is kind and patient and thoughtful and always responsive and attentive to the individual requirements of each student. Her classes are conducted in a fun environment, yet she constantly challenges her students to improve. Her unique teaching method ensures that students make progress with every class. As a native Russian speaker, Alina has an excellent grasp of basic and advanced concepts of the Russian language and more importantly is able to communicate these concepts to her students in a clear, simple and effective way. Alina is also completely fluent in the English language and so for those English speakers looking to learn Russian, Alina would be an excellent teacher to help with translations initially. Alina is very passionate about the Russian language and very dedicated towards her students and I would very strongly recommend taking classes with her.
