I believe that immersing yourself in the language is the most effective way to learn it, which is why the lessons I create focus on dialogue and vocabulary.
By the way, I'm Kay, a philosophy, psychology and linguistic nerd who loves music, especially jazz, hip-hop, and metal.
I've been teaching Portuguese and English for 2 years and developed skills to create learning strategies for each type of person.

I have been learning with Kayllane for a month now, and not only is she very kind and approachable; she also has a wonderful approach of letting the student talk as much as possible to be confident in their Portuguese. She also explains everything very well and answers in a very clear and understandable way. One month in and I can say basic things and ask basic questions as well as answer them. I am very excited to continue on this journey with Kayllane and can see myself becoming more fluent with more classes with her.

I have really enjoyed my taster lesson and first proper lesson with Kaylanne today. She is super friendly, clearly very skilled in her understanding of how to express ideas across English and Portuguese, and has already unlocked several skills for me in a really short time! Kayllane takes her time to focus in on particular areas until she is sure you understand, she doesn't rush it and the practical element is more organic which allows me space to understand, question, repeat in different ways and hopefully retain what I've learned.
