My name is Ban, I am originally from Iraq/Baghdad but I have been living abroad for a while. I lived in Japan for six years where I received my higher education then moved to the United States six years ago. Due to my diverse international experiences, I have tutored different types of people from different backgrounds. My teaching style is very flexible and depends on each student`s needs and skill level.

We can start from nothing and build your language skills gradually or we can practice high-level grammar.

We can decide what path and style suits you the best during the trial lesson.

I have 12 years of tutoring experience in person. I have taught in a classroom setting at Waseda Univesity as a teacher assistant. I have also taught kids in a school setting in Japan, plus I have ad private one-to-one lessons.

One of the benefits of learning with me is that you will learn a language from a teacher who went through learning a completely new language as an adult. I learned Japanese in my 20s and now I am almost fluent. Learning a new language as an adult can be challenging and only those who went through it can understand the struggle. Arabic is not easy but with me, we can make it fun and easy.
