About me
Hello, my name is Koko, and I’m from Japan.
I currently live in Australia and moved here in 2011.
I’m a mother of two children—an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old girl. My husband is also Japanese.
I can only work as a teacher after my children go to bed, and this is one of my favorite times of the day ♥️
It’s very quiet, and I can really concentrate on what I’m doing. I usually prepare my lessons while the children are at school.
Teaching is my passion, and I always enjoy having fun conversations with people from all over the world 🙂
I’m a very bright and active person. My hobbies include home and furniture makeovers. I also used to travel a lot.
I was born in Yamaguchi Prefecture and moved to Tokyo when I was 18 to attend university.
After graduating, I worked in Hiroshima Prefecture for four years.
Living overseas had always been my big dream, and that’s why I chose Australia.
I’m teaching Japanese 12years now.
Youngest student was 2years old and oldest is 70 years old.
Have experience of group class lesson, tutoring as well.
My teaching method is YOUR WAY.
Some student would like to read THEM book together, some students would like to talk about the MANGA, some one would like to listen my history ( Japanese culture) or of course I would use some text book, or material too.
So I’m very flexible teacher. Try to be fun and interesting way for you.
On the trial lesson, I would like to discuss on your goal.
Please tell me what you are interesting, because every person is different.
Are you interesting to chat with me? Or would you like to learn Hirakana?
Or would you like to work at Japanese company?
I would like to discuss about your learning interesting on the trial lesson.
