Semi retired after a long career in IT as a Developer mainly using Perl, Python, Unix Shell, C and Java

Also experienced as an Oracle DBA and Unix System Admin

I am now looking to continue to pass on my knowledge as I have done for numerous people over the years

Outside work I enjoy taking part in running events (5K to Marathon)

I have taught 2 courses of C++ at Bourneville college, Birmingham UK

I have taught SQL to industry candidates at Solihull college, UK

My method is closely aligned to the teaching methods of Michel Thomas who would teach famous people (or anyone who could afford him) to speak a new language in just a few days.

Even though he taught spoken languages very effectively his methods are useful to teach any subject.
