I find all my lessons, interesting, funny, interactive and challenging. I am encouraged to speak in Spanish throughout my lesson, even though I don't feel I know that much, however, this allows me think and reflect on my what I am saying and my learning. Tessa is an excellent, engaging and supportive teacher, she prepares for each lessons which are well constructed and progressive and I have no hesitation to recommend her to family and friends.

I took Spanish in high school, but I have not had any formal lessons or classes since then. I've tried to work on my Spanish on my own over the last couple of years, but struggled to make much progress, so I decided to try LearnZone. I have had 3 lessons so far with Tessa and I am very excited to keep going! Her lessons are tailored to my needs and goals, and challenge me each week. We only speak in Spanish during our lessons, which has forced me to get over my nervousness about speaking, and improved my listening and comprehension skills. I would recommend her to anyone looking to learn Spanish, I have already improved so much in such a short time.

Tessa is kind and patient. Although the lessons are intense, time flies by because she is engaging and a joy to speak with. My current level is somewhere between beginner and intermediate. Doing our lessons entirely in Spanish forces me to think, make mistakes, and improve my speaking and listening. She integrates the grammar and vocabulary lessons with fascinating facts about Mexican culture. Her passion for teaching and language learning really show!
