About me

Nice to meet you! My name is Juan, I was born in Venezuela, I lived five years in Peru, I am a native Spanish speaker, and I like not only to teach languages but to learn them and understand their cultures. So, we already have a first thing in common! 😄

I am also interested in geography, technology, soccer, anime, movies, books and pets.

I'm certified by the European University Miguel de Cervantes in the Specialization Course in Teaching ELE.

My students, of different ages, professions and from all over the world, have greatly improved their Spanish skills and have gained confidence to use the language in real situations.

Juan is incredible! He uses a multitude of different exercises to increase my vocabulary and confidence! He is extremely patient which is helpful for me when I’m trying to translate English to Spanish in my head haha. He is awesome, 10/10 recommend 🙌

Highly recommended for students of all levels!! I have taken several lessons of him already. He is super patient, positive and attentive, so I always feel so comfortable in the class. The lessons are well organized with slides or several tools depending on your individual ability of Spanish, so there is nothing worry about taking his class. One hour passes so quickly with great progress. Also he is very open to know other cultures. I always have fun to talk about Japanese culture.(He knows a lot about Japan already and speaks Japanese!!) I will keep taking his class:) Thank you.

I switched teacher from another to Juan about 6 months ago and have learned a lot since then. Juan makes sure to really focus on all important aspects of learning a new language, talking, grammar and exercises. He is always very patient and will explain something even if he has to do it twice. Learning a new language with him is a lot of fun and I can only recommend it to anyone!

Juan is an amazing teacher. I always have a lot of fun during our classes, where we discuss a wide range of topics. I have many opportunities to practice speaking, and I'm not afraid to use my Spanish in front of him, which I think this is the most important thing for a beginner student like myself. I would highly recommend Juan to any Spanish student. Not only is he a great teacher, but he's also an amazing person!
