Hello, my name is Sandra C. I love the arts and am passionate about communication, business, social media, and marketing. I enjoy listening to music, traveling, and helping my students achieve their goals.

I am a native English speaker from the United States of America.

I have fifteen years of experience teaching and mentoring in English at USC and North Seattle Community College, to studios in California, Washington, and Oregon, as well as online business coaching.

As the former publisher and owner of a magazine (2009-2014), and the author of two books, I have additional skills and insight into language that is specific to publishing and copyediting.

I have published work and have been quoted in magazines such as Flaunt, Forbes, Dance Spirit, and CMSWire. I am versed in business language that overarches into marketing, social media, eCommerce, digital branding, fashion, and advertising.

Using the direct method of language instruction, I help students learn and begin to think in English. Using the communicative language teaching method, I help students discuss real-life situations to build their language skills to use in their daily life.

*A quick note: I do not teach students younger than 16 years old. There are many fantastic tutors on LearnZone who teach students who are under 16 and are amazing teachers.
