Hello! My name is Miki. I majored in Islamic theology and comparative religion at a university in Malaysia during my college years. There, I studied a wide range of subjects including Islamic philosophy and theology, Western philosophy, comparative religion, and Arabic.

I’m from Gunma Prefecture in Japan, where I was born and raised, and Japanese is my native language. I also understand Arabic, which makes me particularly good at teaching Japanese to learners from Arab countries.

I have about two years of experience as a Japanese tutor, teaching friends from college and various people from around the world. Back then, I used the textbook "Minna no Nihongo" for my classes.

My lesson approach can cater to beginners and intermediate learners, adapting to your preferred learning style. For example, for beginners, I can provide lessons on hiragana and katakana, basic grammar, casual conversation, and even keigo (polite language).
