About me

Hello 👋🏻 , my name is David and I'm a friendly, passionate English teacher from Cambridge in the UK.

I specialise in helping learners improve their confidence, fluency, and accuracy when communicating in English, either for business or pleasure.

I am a professional teacher with a pass 'A' CELTA qualification from Cambridge University and a degree in Spanish. I have taught over 3000 lessons on LearnZone and

I believe that to make real progress in English, the process should interesting and fun!

I enjoy cooking, travelling, dog walking, gardening, reading, meeting new people and learning more about the world!

I gained my Celta (teaching English) qualification from Cambridge University with a Pass A and completed my course fully online, so I'm a specialist in online English teaching. I have now taught over 3,000 classes on LearnZone with great results!

I also have a degree in languages (Spanish) and have lived and worked in other countries, so I really understand the difficulties that people face when learning a new language, working in a foreign country, or integrating into a new culture.

My goal is to help you improve your confidence, fluency and accuracy in English by providing a sound grammar-base, boosting your vocabulary, perfecting your pronunciation and giving you a relaxed and fun space to practise and improve your English.

I believe in making learning interesting and fun and for this reason I only ever use up-to-date, varied, relevant and engaging teaching materials, so you will always stay motivated. I believe that anyone can achieve their goals if they put in the work and enjoy the process!

I specialise in accuracy, pronunciation and vocabulary building in conversational English. I firmly believe that conversation should be at the heart of any English lesson. I tailor conversation subjects to fit each student's needs and interests, to keep lessons interesting and engaging!

I have over twenty years experience in the world of business, mostly in the UK, but also in The Caribbean, France and Spain.I can provide in depth business English courses for levels A2-C2. All materials are up to date and relevant to reflect the constantly changing world of business
