About me

After graduating from Bonn University I moved to Japan, where I worked for 12 years at Keio University, NHK Radio and Television, private language schools and publishing companies teaching German as a foreign language. I specialize in test preparation (Telc, DAF etc.) for levels A1 to C2.

From Japan I moved to San Francisco, USA, to work as a translator and interpreter.

In 1995 I returned to Germany, where I have been working as translator, interpreter and teacher of German as a foreign language.

My motto is: learn German and have fun!

I have 45 years of teaching experience at universities, language schools (e.g. Goethe-Institut) and corporations. I am also a translator for English and Japanese.
