Hi, super enthusiastic learners!

My name is Putri, I hold a Master's degree in linguistics through the LPDP scholarship of the Ministry of Finance of RI in 2021. I am currently a language practitioner for the Ministry of Education (MoE) of RI, responsible for developing industry-based curricula for Higher Education.

I have been a language educator since 2014, teaching through institutional settings and startups based in Indonesia, South Korea, and the US. I also have collaborated with multinational clients from a multitude of sectors: data analytics, translation and localization, RnD, and community development.

In personal terms, I am an information seeker, especially related to tech trends, politics, wildlife–CNA, Tech in Asia, The Jakarta Post, and BBC Earth are my favorite channels. This makes me a reliable conversationalist with a good eye for details to support your language learning.

I hold three certifications in language teaching: TESOL Methodology, Assessment of English Language Learners, and TEFL. This specialty marks my fundamental competency in developing a meaningful learning system to support you.

🟣My strategy does not teach skills 1-1 but comprehensively constructs the combination of activities, just like how a language is naturally used throughout real interaction. Instead of limitedly teaching reading, writing, listening, and speaking, I emphasize skill integration, consisting of literacy, comprehension, conversation, and production.

🟢I acknowledge heterogeneity–you are unique and second to none! So, you deserve more genuine learning resources! Instead of only being content with using ready-to-use textbooks that might generalize all learners, I carefully organize needs analysis in the first meeting to craft personalized learning instruments for every student aligned with the CEFR framework.

🔵My materials adhere to Bloom’s taxonomy to ensure learners have constructive experience through student-centered activities. For supplements, my class interactively includes authentic materials, ranging from popular articles, entertainment products, podcasts, to literary works.

🔴In my class, Beginner Level develops basic patterns related to daily tasks and personal relevance for two-way communication. Elementary Level improves coherence and expression through structured activities using cause-effect reasoning. Intermediate Level sharpens analytical skills with active-passive voice, imperatives, and clause inversions to leverage critical thinking. Advanced to Proficient Levels refine expertise with semantic-pragmatic practices, enhancing discourse evaluation and context synthesis.

⚪For adults, learning is practically directed to simulations and projects with targeted feedback, encouraging real-world application beyond class. For kids and teens, active sessions foster psychomotor skills and gradual improvement in independence and class participation.
