Hello! My name is Shane and I am a TEFL certified English teacher from the United States. I can speak Chinese, Japanese, Thai, Korean, and Spanish, I have a bachelors degree in Physics, and I have more than 5 years of experience working with students on subjects ranging from math and science to spoken english and creative writing. In 2019, I taught English at an international school in China and I have been teaching English online ever since.

Every student is unique, varying widely in their English ability, learning style, and language goals. Therefore, every class must be unique as well in order for each student to improve quickly while enjoying the process. For this reason, my classes are always individualized and focused on achieving the specific goals you have set for yourself. If you have never set a language goal before, I will help you establish some in our initial meeting, and we will reference these moving forward to track your progress.

My goal is to help each student establish a learning goal, help them understand the language learning process, and to make the process as enjoyable as possible.
