My 11-year-old son has embarked on an intensive 2.5 to 3-year IGCSE Mathematics preparation course with Asad. Given his age and his background (having followed a different math curriculum than the British system), the task is far from easy. It requires adjusting to his prior knowledge, patience, and bridging gaps 'on the fly' for topics he may have seen before but now needs to master in much greater depth. The clarity of Asad's explanations, his patience, and the rapport and understanding he has built with my son are already very significant qualities. What is perhaps even more impressive is his dedication and commitment to the objectives we are pursuing. I particularly appreciated that, entirely on his own initiative and without being asked, Asad has: Mapped out the 0580 Extended syllabus on an Excel spreadsheet, which he updates line by line as the lessons progress. I have online access to this, allowing me to track my son’s progress closely. Ensured that once a topic is fully covered, he gives my son a test in the IGCSE format to confirm the subject is well understood and to verify his level.
