About me
Hi, my name is Karolina!
I specialize in real-life, business, and political communication in English, Ukrainian, and Russian. I help professionals and entrepreneurs structure their thoughts, express complex ideas, and communicate strategically.
I hold three degrees in Linguistics, Philosophy (Pragmatics), and AI (NLP). This background allows me to combine deep language expertise with analytical thinking and effective learning methods.
My background in HR and recruitment provides a practical understanding of workplace dynamics, while traveling to 30+ countries and studying German, Polish, and French has shaped my expertise in intercultural communication. I help my students adapt to different cultural contexts across borders. In addition to teaching, I run a media project focused on languages and opportunities in IT
As a native Ukrainian and Russian speaker fluent in English, I know what it takes to master a language. If your goal is to speak clearly and confidently in any professional or real-life situation, I would be glad to help.
As a teacher, I follow the communicative approach to language learning. The main focus of my lessons is on speaking and listening practice, while a solid grammatical foundation is equally important. These three elements form the core of most of my lessons.
Although I prefer the communicative method, the learning strategy is always individualized and adapted to each student’s goals. I am open to any wishes and feedback.
I truly enjoy working with my students and seeing their progress. I am happy when trust and comfortable communication develop between us over time. My role as a teacher is not only to teach but also to help students feel confident in themselves. This is supported by the psychological phenomenon known as the Pygmalion (Rosenthal) effect: positive expectations from a teacher contribute to higher learning outcomes.
After each lesson, I share all the materials we used, send a summary with key notes, and provide optional homework to help reinforce the material.

I took a few lessons with Karolina about a year ago, and even though she’s the only language teacher I’ve had, I honestly couldn’t have asked for a better one. Shes patient, her teaching style made everything feel approachable and engaging, and she shares a ton of helpful resources outside of class I had to pause for final exams and never got around to booking more, but I never lost the desire to continue learning Russian. Now that things have settled, I’m really hoping to return. Thank you again for being such a great teacher!Катерина
