Hello, my name is Christopher. I am passionate in teaching. I enjoy learning new things. I have various experiences in the field of engineering so I can easily relate theoretical aspects and make topics interesting to students.

I have more than 5 years of teaching experience.

As an engineer, I usually teach an apprentice on a field work. I will explain the nature of work ahead of time so that my apprentice can do his own assessment. On field work, I will allow him to prepare the materials and/or tools needed. As safe and practical, I will allow my apprentice to do the work by himself under my supervision.

As a shipboard training officer, I help students recall theories they learned in school then apply it onboard ship. In consideration to the seaworthiness of the vessel, I will demonstrate a fault in a certain equipment and show how to rectify it.

As a college instructor, I make sure that the students learn the lesson well. I randomly ask students as we recap the lesson of the day. I always give exercises to them to verify what they have learned and from there, review and give emphasis on the specific topic that the students were not able to answer correctly.
