About me

Hello dear future German students !!

I am looking forward to starting your German as a foreign language classes.

My classes are personalized and I teach all levels, I specialize in levels A1-B2, I have successfully prepared many students for the international exams of the Goethe Institut (Goethe Zertifikat A1-C1) and TELC. It does not matter where you live, nowadays with technology it is not a problem, it does not matter if you feel that your German is not enough to take classes with a native speaker. Improving pronunciation and communication is a permanent requirement of English-speaking students. You are welcome to participate in my online classes, with great success and consistency, you will achieve it without problems.

I have a postgraduate degree in university teaching and have been teaching German as a foreign language for more than 15 years. I have taught at language institutes, cultural centers and universities. In the last time I have dedicated myself to distance learning improving material to encourage students to self-correct and learn grammar content. Online classes are to strengthen knowledge, learn fluent communication in German focused on the level of the student. The content of the classes is designed for each student depending on the needs they have, whether to take an international exam or to improve their communication skills for the profession / university or their private life.

During the trial lesson, in addition to getting to know the student, I give him/her a feedback of his/her previous knowledge and focus the planning of the classes to his/her needs. It is likely to take the level test of the platform before the trial lesson or if necessary, I will send another placement test. Sylvia is a great tutor, very supportive and quick to understand what you need to work on. I'm only a beginner, working towards A2 exam in the summer and I've been having weekly lessons with her for a couple of months. My confidence in German improved massively. I enjoy the range of exercises she uses in our sessions. Really recommend Sylvia :)

Sylvia is an amazing teacher! Always incredibly helpful, super nice, and funny. Her lessons are super well organised and productive. My confidence in German has increased tremendously thanks to her. Sylvia is a very good teacher, the classes are useful and fun at the same time. She has adapted to my level and is helping me prepare for my goal of taking an official German exam. In the classes, we do very varied exercises and she has also provided me with many resources to practice on my own.
