About me

Hello! I am a certified Spanish teacher with over 26 years of experience teaching Spanish. I live in Spain and teaching my language is one of my great passions. I have helped students from all over the world improve their Spanish grammar, vocabulary, listening and speaking.

My level of English is equivalent to C1, which allows me to communicate seamlessly with English-speaking students who want to learn Spanish. I have also participated in cultural exchanges and continue to do so, which enriches my classes with authentic experiences and practical content.

Outside of the classroom, I love music, reading, traveling, and enjoying good times with my husband and friends.

I started learning Spanish with Mari Fe as a complete beginner (A1 level), and over the course of about 1.5 to 2 years, I took three 50-minute classes per week with her. Thanks to her structured approach, patience, and encouragement, I was able to progress steadily and eventually pass a B2-level Spanish exam. Mari Fe is a fantastic teacher. She explains grammar clearly, makes lessons engaging, and always adapts to your learning pace. She builds your confidence in speaking, which made a huge difference for me. If you're just starting your Spanish learning journey, I can’t recommend Mari Fe enough. Her support and teaching style made the whole process both effective and enjoyable.

I really enjoyed this lesson. We started using a set of exercises and gradually increased conversation without using the exercise book, which kept me on my toes!
