Hi! I’m Roberta, a native Italian tutor from a warm city surrounded by the sea and a volcano. I’m deeply curious about languages, cultures, and the way people communicate beyond words.

With 6+ years of experience, I help students build confidence through conversation and personalised guidance.

I working especially with:

• international professionals

• expats who live in or are moving to Italy

• advanced learners who already “speak Italian” but don’t feel fully confident

My lessons are practical, tailored, and focused on:

• how Italian really sounds in formal and informal situations

• cultural differences (what is appropriate, what isn’t)

• register, tone, and unspoken meanings

• real-life situations: work, institutions, relationships

Roberta is not only an interesting, witty and kind person, she is an incredibly patient and thorough teacher. I can't recommend learning Italian with Roberta enough, she is clearly very gifted in languages creating a warm, easy environment for you to learn. I feel very appreciative of her time, knowledge, and communication. She adapts to your level and pushes you to be better every session. I enjoy her teaching style very much, I enjoy talking to her in Italian and I feel like my progress has been nothing short of a shock to me, of course that comes down to what an amazing teacher Roberta is, quindi grazie. I look forward to our sessions very much. Sono curioso e non vedo l’ora di vedere fin dove posso arrivare con l’italiano. Big up yourself Roberta, certified teacher!

I’ve been taking weekly lessons with Roberta this year, and she’s amazing. She’s easygoing, has a great sense of humor, and makes you feel comfortable even when you might feel completely lost — learning a new language is hard! I’ve learned so much already. 10/10 would recommend.

Couldn't have picked a better teacher! Roberta is always prepared and very skilled at adjusting each session as you progress. Also, very patient and great at breaking things down to help you understand why/how things work. Highly recommend!

I’ve been studying Italian with Roberta for several months now and she is absolutely wonderful. A great teacher! I have learned a great deal in a short time. I’m actually at a point where I can converse in Italian. She makes learning Italian a joy, a great communicator. Knows how to break information down so it’s easy to understand. And most importantly, she is patient with me. I would suggest her as a tutor if you are serious about learning Italian.
