Hello, my name is Hanan. I'm a native Arabic speaker from Amman, Jordan. I have got 7 years of experience in teaching the Levantine dialect to students of all age groups from all over the world.
I have always enjoyed teaching, and I enjoy meeting new people. I think language learning can be fun.
After I obtained a bachelor's degree in Medical Analysis, I have been working as a language teacher in an Arabic language institute in person and online.
I create a friendly and warm environment where we will learn new words, proper pronunciation, and rules of grammar. My classes are fun and interactive and are created to give you maximum practical interaction with the Arabic language. I’m passionate about helping my students gain confidence and feel comfortable communication in Arabic.
If you are a beginner or already confident in the Arabic language you will find enjoyable and memorable lessons. My strenghts lie in adapting to the learners's needs and being able to explain grammatical topics in an understandable way.
My lessons & teaching style
The education system is gradual, so that the student learns in each lesson a set of nouns and verbs. If you are a beginner you will start speaking from the first lesson, I will help you understand the language and teach you how to structure sentences.
In the second level I use pictures and short storyboards.
In the third and fourth levels, I use written international stories, articles, and some short videos.
At the last level I use difficult series, articles, news, and videos.
At the end of each lesson, I record the new words with a simple explanation and some examples so the student can go over them again.

I really love having Hanan as my arabic teacher! I had tried other tutors previously, but made little progress. I appreciate the way Hanan pushes me to learn new things every week, but also takes the time to explain things well and in a way that is easy to understand. I also love how she is willing to send recordings to help me practice with the pronunciation of the new words I am learning. I already feel more confident with my arabic then i did before! Hanan is a wonderful teacher! Her lessons are informative but also very accessible and low-stress. She provides structured ways of learning, through pictures, stories, or conversation. She is very patient and not only teaches you vocabulary but also explains the origin and context of the words. She also sent me recordings of her saying the vocabulary words in Arabic so that I can practice my listening and pronunciation. I feel like I'm retaining a lot every week and building my confidence in everyday Arabic!Jamie

Hanan has been an incredible Arabic tutor. She is highly knowledgeable, and also extremely personable and encouraging. From the very first lesson, she made me feel comfortable speaking, even when I could barely form full sentences. She explains concepts clearly while breaking down grammar and pronunciation in a way that actually makes sense. Her teaching style is structured but flexible, and she will adjust to your pace because she want you to really understand. What I appreciate most is how supportive she is. Learning Arabic can feel overwhelming, but Hanan eased my nerves. I’ve grown in confidence so much because of her. She is an excellent tutor and I would highly recommend her to anyone serious about learning Arabic.

Hanan is a fantastic tutor. She gets you speaking Arabic right away and explains grammar so that it's simple and easy to use. Also she records the main lesson points so you can practice what you learned. Hanan is very nice and supportive and corrects your mistakes so you can learn. I feel like I've already learned some complicated grammar very easily with Hanan so that I can actually use it listening and speaking. I would highly recommend Hanan to anyone who wants to start becoming conversational in Arabic right away.Louiza

I started learning with Hanan 3 weeks and am already able to form simple sentences and questions. Each lesson we have a good mix of learning new verbs/nouns and practising speaking. Very enjoyable teaching style and I'm making progress at a good pace! Shukran Hanan :)
