Hello everyone,

My name is Alex, and I teach German with passion and dedication. I truly enjoy helping people feel confident and comfortable using the German language.

I have been teaching German as a foreign language for several years, both online through LearnZone and in person at the DeutschAkademie Leipzig. I also teach Japanese at the Volkshochschule Leipzig, working with learners of different ages and backgrounds.

I completed the Deutsch Lehren Lernen (DLL) teacher training program at the Goethe-Institut and am approved by the BAMF (Federal Office for Migration and Refugees) as a teacher for integration courses. In my classes, I focus on making the language come alive through practical and engaging lessons that connect grammar and communication with real life.

My lessons are tailored to each learner’s goals. Together, we develop a plan that fits your needs and work on grammar, pronunciation, writing, or speaking — whatever helps you progress most effectively. Mistakes are welcome, questions are encouraged, and learning should always be enjoyable.

Through my work as a Japanese teacher at the Volkshochschule Leipzig, I have also learned how rewarding it is to guide people as they explore a new language. The exchange with students from all over the world inspires me every day and motivates me to keep improving my teaching methods.
