Hi! I’m Syeda, an English tutor and coach from the United States with a clear, neutral American accent.

I have an international background and a deep curiosity about language, culture, and communication. I love learning languages, writing, and exploring subjects like linguistics, history, and the arts. Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling, practicing yoga, staying active through fitness, gardening, cooking, reading, and discovering creative hobbies. I bring this curiosity and energy into my lessons, making learning engaging, relatable, and inspiring.

TEACHING APPROACH & EXPERIENCE:

I’m a TEFL-certified English tutor and coach with over ten years of experience working with learners across all levels (A1–C2).

I work with learners of all ages and backgrounds, including professionals, students, travelers, and beginners. I also prepare students for exams such as the SAT and other standardized English tests, helping them achieve strong results with confidence. Additionally, I work with CEOs, business executives, and professionals on speech, presentation, and high-stakes communication skills, helping them deliver ideas clearly, confidently, and persuasively.

My approach combines teaching and coaching:

1. Teaching focuses on building a strong foundation in grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation, and writing.

2. Coaching focuses on real-life English, helping you think in English, express ideas clearly, respond naturally, and communicate with confidence. For business clients, this includes speech and presentation preparation, executive communication, and professional language refinement.

In my lessons, you develop both. This means you’re not only learning English, you’re learning how to communicate effectively in everyday and professional situations. I use a variety of engaging materials like articles, podcasts, videos, and conversation-based exercises so that lessons feel dynamic and relevant. Beginners receive structured guidance while advanced learners focus on fluency, nuance, and real-world application.
