My name is Nathalie, and I'm a native Austrian German speaker with a background in international business and management. I hold a dual Master's degree from the University of Porto and the University of São Paulo — so I understand what it means to build a professional life in a language that isn't your mother tongue.

Most of my students are expats and professionals who have relocated to Germany, Austria, or Switzerland — working in IT, business development, finance, marketing, consulting, and the creative industries. They come to me because they need German that actually works in their professional environment: in meetings, with colleagues, in writing, and in everyday life in the DACH region.

My approach is conversational, structured, and tailored to your specific goals. We work with your real-world situations — your industry, your level, your challenges. Beginners start speaking earlier than they expect, always with clear guidance.

I grew up trilingual (German, English, Swedish) and also speak Spanish and Portuguese, which gives me a strong understanding of how different learners think — and where they typically get stuck.

I have been teaching German and English to professionals and expats since 2017, across several countries and contexts. In Colombia and Brazil, I worked with high-profile clients on Business English and German, and supported the launch of an e-learning venture in the language education space.

On this platform, the majority of my students are expats who have relocated to the DACH region for professional reasons. Over the years I have worked with people from a wide range of industries - IT, business development, finance, marketing, consulting, graphic design, healthcare, and the creative industries including film, music, and the arts.

What I find most valuable in this work is exactly that variety - every student brings a different professional world, set of challenges, and way of thinking. It keeps the teaching sharp and the conversations genuinely interesting.
