I regularly work on conversational French with my students. Throughout conversations specifically built around topics that interest you, I will correct you and provide explanations when and where needed. Together we will pay attention to your pronunciation, and will stop on key points. Synonyms and French sayings will be suggested as we go, to work on and enrich your vocabulary. We can also integrate some slang words for you to be able to speak like a true native versus a robot :) This is a great exercise to see the actual difference between classical French and everyday spoken French, making your flow more organic and natural.

How exciting to start learning a new language from scratch! Do not worry! We can start gently by mixing French and English at first, and start working on the basics, slowly but surely. We adapt our rhythm so as not to speak too fast. From there, we will follow a natural progression through different chapters, ensuring a steady progress from one level to the next one. Lessons can include different activities, such as the use of reading material, working on French songs together, creating dialogues through role-playing, etc. In general, we try to diversify the content as much as possible, so as to not be studying only grammar the whole week, for example... Whatever your motivation is for taking the jump, I know one thing: students always know more than they think when they are just starting - so let's connect the dots together!
