I have played the guitar for more than 30 years and have been teaching how to play it for more than 20 years now. I teach all skill levels from Beginner to Advance on the Acoustic, Classical and Electric guitar with students from 5 to 70+ years old, across all genres of music, including Pop, Rock, Jazz, Classical, Blues, Funk, Country, Metal, Gospel and more. Students learn songs of their choice and I work with students to develop their guitar playing skills and technical proficiency while motivating their musical creativity with learning to read guitar notation, improvisation and ear training with a variety of fingerstyle to shredding techniques.
Voice (music)
I have been singing for over 15 years and have around 10 years’ experience of playing live and recording in a studio. I do not specialize in vocal coaching but am able to assist students with learning to play and sing with the guitar at the same time. For perfecting on vocals as a particular skill, a specialized vocal coach is recommended.

I have more than 30 years of experience with music theory and have been teaching it for more than 20 years. All guitar related music theory from site reading to transposition, improvisation and composition is available to students. With innovative, comprehensive diagrams and content provided, that harmoniously flows with each lesson, as well as lesson-based exercises; this allows for a more fun-filled, interactive approach to learning music theory overall.
听音训练
Ear training takes a student beyond music notation and guitar tablature, providing one with a skill that allows you to hear any song and play it on the guitar within a shorter time frame. This is helpful when the notation and tablature from third party sources are incorrect or unavailable to you. I assist students with concentrated ear training exercises for improving the ability to identify notes and chords on the guitar by ear.
