Beginners often feel intimidated when first approaching Chinese. With only a couple of sessions, I can help you get a good grasp of Pinyin while learning basic Chinese dialogues! For the new vocabulary in each subsequent lesson, you can read it independently, and I’ll help you correct your pronunciation. It’s that simple—you’ll get started with Chinese! Oral dialogues start from basic daily topics and the ones you’re interested in; I’ll practice dialogues with you based on your actual situation. By drawing inferences from one example, you can practice speaking anytime without feeling it’s difficult. Depending on whether you need to learn to read and write Chinese characters, I’ll incorporate knowledge about characters in later classes, so you can respond to listening, speaking, reading, and writing from the start, gradually adapt, and boost your interest in learning Chinese.

You’ll learn to speak Chinese quickly with me, because I focus more on oral practice in class. I also provide plenty of exercises to keep helping you speak new words, form sentences, and practice dialogues!

I have two kids, a boy and a girl. Through raising them, I clearly understand the challenges and solutions for children learning Chinese. My teaching experience gives me a great advantage in teaching Chinese to children: by understanding their psychological state, I help them build a sense of the Chinese language, lay a solid foundation for their Chinese learning, and support their progress and development.I am good at guiding children to expand their Chinese vocabulary and strengthen their language skills through reading stories, basic picture books, and early chapter books.

I’ve developed a set of courses for Mandarin oral practice and business Chinese. In class, I’ll help you improve your business Chinese skills in a spiral manner through self-checking and self-correction, so you can use appropriate language in the right business scenarios.

If you want to pass the HSK exam smoothly, I’ll use various methods to help you learn and memorize vocabulary quickly. I’ll enhance your listening, reading, and writing skills through engaging textbooks and workbooks. You’ll also learn to manage your time effectively during the exam.

If you have strong ability to learn Chinese in depth, with my careful preparation, you can form simple sentences in a short time and improve your Chinese proficiency. During your advancement, I’ll use daily examples and practical collocations to show you which expressions are commonly used by native speakers and which are more authentic. You’ll experience the different meanings and subtle nuances of words in various scenarios.

To promote Mandarin and Chinese culture, I once volunteered as a teacher at a Sinology school, where I studied a large number of sinological classics, including The Analects, The Great Learning, The Doctrine of the Mean, Mencius, The Book of Songs, 300 Tang Poems, and 300 Song Ci Poems. Some of these works can be chanted; ancient poetry and lyrics, in particular, have been warmly welcomed by both children and adults when taught through chanting.
