Hi! I've been a Registered Nurse in Critical Care for over 20 years. Additionally, I worked as a Nursing Educator, a role that I really enjoyed. During my years as a Nurse, I have worked with many outstanding ESL medical professionals. Talking with them helped me realize that the journey to become a provider in an English speaking country is very challenging. There is a need for tutors to help these providers develop healthcare specific English language skills. Recently, I have taken some time off from Nursing to travel and live abroad. This is has given me the time to work as a tutor. I look forward to working with you!

I have over 8 years of experience teaching Critical Care skills to Nurses. I am experienced in creating educational material, and understanding the unique learning needs of individual students. I am currently completing my TEFL, and have been student teaching at a language school in Mexico for the past 4 months. I believe in assessing learners current language level, and specific needs. Lessons will be adapted to your specific situation depending on whether you are a student in a healthcare field, or a currently practicing professional. I believe strongly in speaking practice and role playing healthcare scenarios.
