Hello, my name is Ron. I'm an English teacher currently based in Tokyo, Japan. I've had over 18 years of experience teaching English to learners from all over the world. I help students not only refine their overall English and communication skills, but also to widen their horizons. I enjoy sharing ideas and resolving issues through more empathetic and persuasive talk.

My hobbies are learning languages (currently learning Japanese and Spanish), as well as walking and people watching.

I am a TEFL certified educator, with over 18 years of experience teaching English as a Foreign Language. I've taught students from South Korea, China, Taiwan, Spain, Italy, Hungary and Saudi Arabia. Currently, I support Japanese professionals in their pursuit of success in international business, through effective and persuasive communication.

I tailor each class to the specific goals and preferences of the student, with the focus on giving them the tools necessary to speak, and not to dictate on or spoon-feed them. I use different resources such videos, articles or textbooks. We will learn the vocabulary, understand the content and discuss the themes surrounding the topic.
