Hi! I'm Andrea. I'm a certified elementary teacher with 19 years of experience teaching in the U.S. and internationally. I specialize in helping young learners build strong foundations in reading, writing, and English language skills. I have extensive experience teaching Grades K–5, with a focus on upper elementary writing and reading comprehension (Grades 4–5). During my personal time I enjoy traveling, going to museums and live shows, and taking fun classes like yoga, Zumba, and kickboxing.

I am an experienced elementary teacher with 19 years of teaching in both the United States and international schools. I have taught in the U.S., Kuwait, the UAE, and Egypt. I have worked with students from Kindergarten through Grade 5, teaching all core subjects, with a strong focus on English Language Arts for upper elementary students. Throughout my career, I have supported students in developing foundational reading skills, including phonics, fluency, and comprehension. I also specialize in helping Grades 4–5 students improve their writing, including paragraph structure, grammar, and clear expression of ideas. I have experience working with both native English speakers and ESL learners, and I adapt my lessons to meet each student’s level and learning style. My teaching approach is structured, supportive, and engaging, with a focus on building confidence and strong academic skills.
